ON HOLD
Due to funding
Since the spring of 2000 Career Transitions has connected with local business & industry professionals to provide high school students with job shadow opportunities. Annually the job shadow program sees approximately 300-350 grade 11 & 12 students participate from across Southwestern Alberta.
The individual job shadow experience is typically a half to full day in length depending on what a host can offer. Students get a chance to explore a new field of interest and get an in-depth look at what an average day in an occupation of their choosing looks like.
Individual placements are offered to Grade 11 & 12 students ONLY.
Don’t forget to check out Career Exploration Sessions for other career exploration opportunities.
